Mud represents the “dirt” meaning the sin in our life that keeps us away from God. Ink represents the “blood of Jesus” which is the Perfect Lamb of God. He had no sin and died on the cross for our sins and rose again. By the shedding of blood, He paid the price for our sin. Jesus was slaughtered, and His blood ransomed for us.
